Aerotek Machine Operator in Mooresville, North Carolina

Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Production Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting Operators with materials assigned to run equipment, ensuring that items produced pass quality control requirements. You will be trained to perform moderately advanced troubleshooting of equipment and adjustments. You will also be responsible for reading and interpreting blue prints, using moderately advanced measuring instruments, and completing all necessary documents accurately. Adherence to 5S standards and all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures is mandatory. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Hard Skills

  • 3+ years of experience

  • blueprint reading

  • use of hand gauges

  • use of calipers

  • mathematical skills

  • experience in metal manufacturing

Soft Skills

  • attention to detail

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Mooresville, North Carolina.

Work Environment

This role is based in a smoke-free facility. The environment is not climate-controlled but doesn't reflect extreme temperatures. It is a newer facility where you will be working with Operators and Production workers on shift. Dress code includes slip-resistant steel-toed shoes (save receipt), jeans, and a work shirt with no holes.
