  • $30.00 to $35.00 per hour

  • Onsite position in Mukilteo, Washington

  • Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm-flexible!

  • Contract to hire!

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Wire Technician, where you will be responsible for assembling electrical or electronic systems, supporting structures, and installing components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings using various tools. You will adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic components to correct defects and ensure conformance to specifications. This role involves fabricating parts, coils, or structures, planning work activities with supervisors or engineers, and resolving production problems. As part of your responsibilities, you will also handle all aspects of low voltage technician tasks, wiring activities, mechanical assembly of components, functional testing, QA for completed panels, and manage packaging and shipping activities. You will be based in a busy panel shop in Mukilteo, where you will have your customizable ergonomic workspace.

Qualifications

  • Ability to assemble and wire low voltage panels

  • Proficiency in using small hand tools for mechanical assembly

  • Experience in reading, interpreting, and comprehending electrical schematics and mechanical drawings

  • Solid understanding of AC/DC electrical circuits and related equipment

  • Ability to perform functional testing and QA for completed panels

Work Environment

The work environment is a panel shop located in Mukilteo, near Kamiak. The role requires flexibility in shift timings to accommodate specific needs such as childcare. Team collaboration and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities are essential.
