Aerotek Material Handler in NEW BRITAIN, Connecticut
Description:
Candidate will be loading and unloading trucks/vans. This may require the candidate to use a sit down forklift or they may need to lift up to 50lbs to move the product themselves. Ideally seeking someone with over 2 years experience but would consider any experience level if the candidate has other competencies.
Other responsibilities will also include creating shipping labels utilizing UPS and FedEx systems. Must be comfortable in utilizing a computer for these specific tasks as accuracy is a top priority.
Candidate will be picking and selecting specific customer orders. Candidate need to know how to work off of written instructions. Everything else will be taught.
Must Haves:
2+ years experience in warehouse
6+ months of forklift experience
1+ year of material handling experience
6+ months of computer or inventory specifically UPS or FedEx
Must have a HS education or equivalent
