Aerotek Maintenance Technician in New Castle, Indiana

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are currently seeking mechanically inclined individuals with basic electrical understanding for immediate openings in our maintenance department. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our Tier 1 supplier facility. This role requires you to handle urgent matters and keep production lines running, with approximately 95% of your role dedicated to resolving immediate issues. You will address mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems within the facility, working with robotic welders, tube benders, and other machinery. You will also perform simple troubleshooting of electrical cabinets using a volt meter and replace components such as motors, rollers, chain conveyers, photo eyes, and proxy switches. This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 1040 Hour(s). This is a fully on-site position in New Castle, Indiana.

Hard Skills

  • Ability to read and make light modifications with Ladder Logic

  • Industrial Maintenance Experience-1+ years OR Military Maintenance Experience

  • Hydraulic experience

  • Pneumatic experience

  • Basic Electrical troubleshooting-up to 24 Volts

  • Ability to read a meter

  • PLC Troubleshooting (preferred)

  • Just in time delivery experience in an automotive environment (preferred)

Soft Skills

  • Problem-solving skills

  • Urgency in task execution

  • Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends
