Job Title: Commercial Electrician
Job Description
Electricians are responsible for roughing in conduit and wiring new commercial buildings based on plans and prints provided by the General Contractor. Responsibilities include terminating wires at switches, circuit breaker panels, and relays. The role involves wiring instruments that control power, lighting, and heating units in buildings, as well as wiring for air conditioning and refrigeration units. Electricians will use power tools, test meters, pipe threaders, and conduit benders to perform their duties.
Hard Skills
Commercial experience in bending conduit or pipe
Running wire
OSHA certification
Proficiency with saws, drills, utility knives, ohmmeters, and testing tools
Soft Skills
- Safety orientation
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in NEWARK, New York.
Work Environment
Work will be carried out in Eastern Monroe County and Ontario County. Compensation ranges from $20 to $28 hourly, based on experience. Candidates are required to have basic tools; larger or specialty tools will be provided. Work hours are typically from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, but can extend based on project needs.
