Aerotek Heavy Equipment Operator (Weekly Pay) in North Charleston, South Carolina

Heavy Equipment Operator

  • Operators will participate in projects that include land clearing, earthwork, storm drainage, soil stabilization, road construction and grading

  • Higher skilled operators will run dozers/motor graders, fine grading with use of GPS

  • Operate haul trucks/off road trucks

  • Operate front end loaders skid steers, mini excavators, excavators, rollers

  • Also responsible for general labor, including digging trenchwork, unloading trucks/materials, and preparing job sites.

  • All candidates should be prepared to hold a shovel in hand, as well as operating equipment

Shifts:

  • Monday through Saturday, weather dependent, start time is 7am fine

  • 8-10 hour shifts, can vary depending on project needs

  • 50-60 hour work weeks, sometimes more/less depending on weather/needs
