Corporate A&P Mechanic

Job Description

Join our team as an A&P Mechanic and play a crucial role in maintaining our fleet of 22 aircraft, focusing primarily on Citation jets. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical discrepancies, installing and testing avionics equipment, and conducting both pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure all aircraft are airworthy. You will maintain detailed records in compliance with FAA regulations, collaborate with the maintenance team for efficient task completion, and respond to AOG situations promptly.

Hard Skills

  • Must have experience with Citation Jets (CJ-3's or 680'S), or corporate airframes

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. (not too much scheduled maintenance)

  • Proficiency in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics

  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license

  • Avionics installation and testing

Soft Skills

  • Self starter - as there will be minimal training

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Flexible and adaptable to work weekends and on-call as needed

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Oakland, California.

Work Environment

Work primarily within the hangar located in Oakland.
