Job Title: Boiler Operator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Boiler Operator who will be responsible for the maintenance, operation, and repair of centralized boiler and chiller equipment and related auxiliary systems. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in a large complex Central Plant, supporting specialized facilities such as hospitals, with over 500 boiler horsepower high pressure steam heating capacity and 400 tons centrifugal chiller produced cooling capacity. You will monitor, operate, and maintain high pressure steam boilers, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, deaerators, surge tanks, feed water systems, and steam and chilled water distribution. Knowledge of chemical treatment systems and central plant DDC control system operation is crucial. Candidates must possess or obtain within the second year of employment a current Stationary Engineer’s license from a city, state, or nationally recognized entity, such as National Institute for the Uniform Licensing of Power Engineers (NIULPE) First Class Engineer or equivalent.
