Job Title: Plastic Molding Tech
Job Description
Seeking a Plastic Molding Tech with varying levels of experience to join our dynamic team. The role entails process monitoring, troubleshooting, and adjustments of injection molding machines to ensure optimal operation and quality. Responsibilities include understanding the characteristics and processing requirements of various plastic resins, managing mold changeovers, maintaining process control, and performing minor repairs and preventative maintenance on machinery. Candidates should be capable of documenting all process changes and effectively communicating tooling and machine issues for timely repairs.
Hard Skills
Knowledge of plastic resins and regrind
Experience in start-up, shut-down, and re-start of injection molding machines
Ability to pull and set molds following standard work practices
Experience with Haitian, Van Dorn molding machines
Experience with RJG molding techniques
Soft Skills
Strong mechanical, technical, and troubleshooting skills
Attention to detail
Strong work ethic
Ability to communicate effectively
Work Environment
Non climate controlled environment with staggered 20-minute lunch breaks and two 10-minute breaks. Employees are allowed to listen to their own music while on the floor.
Pay
$17-24/hour depending on experience
