Aerotek Test Operator in Olive Branch, Mississippi

Description:

The testing department runs all wired units through a series of hardwired and remote tests. When each unit is brought into the testing department, it is first plugged into the hi-pot machine to verify its electrical safety. Once it has passed this check, it will be moved to a row and plugged in for testing. Each tester will have a rolling station and laptop to monitor tests and complete any on screen commands. They will be working on several units at once, completing in house and client testing. If any faults are found, they are documented and a report is run to identify a diagnostic plan for troubleshooting. If repairs cannot be completed in the testing department, the unit is sent to the debug and repair department.

2nd shift:

4:00pm - 12:30am (OT is available until 1:30am)

Monday - Friday (OT available 12p-5p on Sat)

Skills:

6 months of related experience

Strong attention to detail

Knowledge of basic office applications (word processors, spreadsheets, databases)

Familiarity with computer components and handling

Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Ability to lift, push, and/or move up to 50lbs consistently

Comfortable going up and down a step ladder frequently
