Industrial Maintenance Technician

$22 - $35/hr | Omaha, NE

We are working with a large bakery that is looking for multiple maintenance technicians at their facility. They have day or nights open and are continually expanding with new buildings in the works.

Responsibilities:

Maintenance technicians at will have a variety of job duties including

• Reviewing work orders at the start of their shift

• Performing preventative maintenance on baking ovens/packing machines

• Inspecting and testing machinery including bearings, gears and shafts

• Technicians will install and repair electrical apparatuses, gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related equipment

• Technicians will be setting up and operating lathes, grinders, drills, etc

• Technicians will also be doing occasional fabrication to cut or join metal parts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience setting up, repairing, troubleshooting machinery within a manufacturing or production setting.

• 1 year of mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or production setting.

• 6+ Months of Electrical and welding/fabricating experience

• Ability to work 1 weekend day a week

• Ability to work 12 hour shifts

Shift/Work Environment:

• 4 day work weeks: 1 day being a weekend day

• 5am - 5pm or 5pm - 5am

• Production Environment

• It does smell like fresh bread!

• Maintain a SQF System that regulates
