Aerotek Laborer in Omaha, Nebraska

Description:

  • Laborers will be installing new windows and premanufactured metal window frames into commercial buildings and store fronts.

  • Laborers will be required to lift 50lbs alone and work with others to lift heavier windows and put them into place.

  • Windows and premanufactured frames will be loaded into a work van at the shop everyday and taken to a job site to be installed.

  • Each van carries 2 passengers and there will be teams of 4-6 people working together depending on the size of the job.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • The technical term for people in this industry would be "Glaziers". A person with true glazing experience would be someone who fabricates metal framing on the job site and cuts glass to size and installs and seals the glass into the frame and installs the final product.

  • Most people with glazing experience will be installing completed window and frame units or installing precut glass pieces into a pre installed frame.

  • Blueprint reading is beneficial to be able to understand the layout of the job but is not a requirement.

Not required to work weekends or more than 5 hours of OT*

Shift and Pay:

7:00am-4:00pm OR 7:30am-4:30pm | $16-$20+ depending on experience
