Aerotek Warehouse Associate in Omaha, Nebraska
Job Description
As a Warehouse Associate, you will operate an overhead crane to manage the lifting, moving, and positioning of loads. You will ensure that the load is safely attached and does not exceed lifting limits, while also maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the crane. Additionally, you will be responsible for tracking inventory within your designated bay and loading structural steel beams onto semis based on order sheets.
Skills
Experience operating equipment in a warehouse, such as forklifts or electric pallet jacks
Experience operating an overhead crane
Experience with other heavy equipment operation
Attention to safety and detail

Environment
This role operates in a metal distribution center that is not temperature-controlled, reflecting the external temperature due to frequent truck movement. The work environment is relatively clean for a metal distribution center. Work shifts available are 1st Shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 2nd Shift from 4:00 PM to 11:30 PM . The team size typically ranges from 2-3 people. Dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, and a work shirt.
