Description:

Searching for a Field Service Technician (FST) to work in the US office out of Ooltewah, TN. The FST will be responsible for traveling to customers for the purpose of troubleshooting mechanical and electronic issue, repairing, and maintaining knitting and weaving components or accessories. The FST will also provide technical support and training to customers on customer sites, or via phone and email.

***They are looking for someone to be in this role for the next few years, at least. There is good opportunity to earn raises , but the job title will likely not change, and you will likely not have the opportunity to work strictly in the Ooltewah facility. They need someone who is ok with doing this mild traveling work for the foreseeable future.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Traveling projects last a few days. NOT out on the road for a week or more, like most other traveling work. Just a few days at a time.

Traveling required 50% home nightly and 50% in a hotel - home almost every weekend.

Traveling in the following states: GA, TN, NC, SC, AL, and sometimes PA and ME (car provided and all fuel for work reimbursed or paid in advance, depending on situation).

$60 per diem for any days you have to stay in a hotel.

Schedule is M-F 8am-5pm. 1 hour lunch unpaid if home that night.

Good opportunity to train for a few weeks at their facility in Belgium after 6 months.
