Aerotek Packer in Oxnard, California

We are urgently hiring a Packer!

As a Packer, you will be responsible for packing bagged produce in accordance with the correct specifications, including bag type and produce quality, adhering to company standards. You will need to recognize differences in produce such as size, label, color, ripeness, and overall quality. Understanding customer-specific quality requirements and proper packing procedures, including box types and bag configurations, is crucial. You will also sort fruit and bags by quality, use supporting packing materials for all product types, maintain a clean working area, and participate in safety and job training. Additional duties may be assigned by supervisors or leads as needed.

This is a contract position, fully on-site position in Oxnard, California

Fast-paced, cold, and wet environment in a food facility, requiring food-safe behavior. Work conditions range from 38F to 50F.
