Job Title: Electrical Helper
Paris, IL | $35-$36/hr
Shift : 1st shift (5 8hr shifts), works independently on Friday
Job Description
Seeking a skilled Electrical Helper to handle power components at a corn processing facility. This role involves both preventative and reactive maintenance duties.
Must Haves:
Ability to work with up to 480 Volts
Experience in electrical preventative maintenance
Previous experience wiring/unwiring motors
Ability to run conduit
Experience with AC/DC Drivers
Proficiency in using a multimeter
Experience working on MCC Buckets
Nice to Have:
Ability to work independently
Strong assessment and problem-solving skills
Effective in managing daily work orders

This is a contract to hire position.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Paris, Illinois.
Work Environment
The position is based at a facility requiring 5 eight-hour shifts. Candidates must be comfortable working independently, especially on Fridays. The role demands a significant focus on preventive maintenance, with daily work orders issued and a balanced approach to handling emergency work orders from mill operators. This is a small team environment looking for someone who is interested is a long-term career.
