Job Description
A typical day in this position involves performing cycle counts, data entry, forklift driving, operating a saw, and working with computer systems efficiently. Safety is the top priority at all times.
Responsibilities
Operate a forklift
Handle materials efficiently and safely
Perform cycle counts
Use computer systems for data entry
Operate a saw
Read and interpret blueprints
Utilize a ruler for precise measurements
Manage inventory control
Pick and pack materials
Participate in shipping and receiving processes
Essential Skills
Forklift operation
Warehouse experience
Material handling
Computer knowledge
Math and reading skills
RF scanner usage
Inventory control
Experience with blueprints and construction
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 1+ years of warehouse and production experience in a metals facility or related manufacturing environment
Work Environment
The work environment is a production facility with high expectations for production numbers and efficiencies. The facility hosts 150-160 Full-Time Employees (FTEs). The dress code includes jeans, t-shirts, steel-toed shoes, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by the employer. Shifts are as follows: 1st shift from 6am-2pm, 2nd shift from 2pm-10pm, and 3rd shift from 10pm-6am. Employees are required to work 7 days a week for at least the next 3 months, with 1 Sunday off per month.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00
