Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
We are seeking a Material Handler to own all facets of our aftermarket warehouse operations. Our company is a proud supplier of mining equipment, offering a wide range of products from specific screws to full sized engines weighing up to 10 tons. We take pride in our ability to safely package and ship rare parts to our clients in an extraordinarily timely manner. Your responsibilities will include operating sit-down, stand-up, and cherry picking equipment, as well as assembling wood products using screws, drills, saws, and nail guns. Additionally, you will be required to safely build custom boxing/packaging for specialty parts of varying sizes, weights, and costs, and pick parts to customer orders, evaluating the necessary packaging.
Hard Skills
Operating sit-down, stand-up, and cherry picking equipment
Experience using screws/drills/saws/nail guns to assemble wood products
Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/32nd
Experience with saws/drills
Sit Down / Stand Up / Cherry Picker / Pallet Jack Experience
Soft Skills
Previous woodworking experience
Excellent reputation of attendance

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

This is a fully on-site position in Peoria, Illinois.
