Job Title: Service Technician

Job Description

Now hiring Crane Service Technicians responsible for traveling to various manufacturing companies across Central Illinois. Your role will involve troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing cranes, as well as conducting crane inspections and preventative maintenance on cranes and equipment. You will be responsible for using electronic documentation to accurately document your work and update service records while interacting directly with customers.

Hard Skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Computer and mobile application proficiency

  • Math aptitude

  • Mechanically inclined

  • Ability to lift 75 – 100 pounds

  • Willing to travel

  • Valid Class C driver’s license

  • Prior experience with cranes and rigging (preferred)

Work Environment

This role involves working independently once trained, performing service at customer sites on lift and aerial equipment. You will commute locally within an hour to various manufacturing facilities and work sites. You will periodically visit the shop for equipment or training, expect to work 40 hours weekly with occasional overtime. You will need to provide some of your own basic tools and will be part of a team however you will work independently after training.
