Aerotek Punch Press Operator in Perrysburg, Ohio
Description:
Set-up and operate Amada 357 Punch Press
Very repetitive work of loading 4x10 steel beams into the press
Load appropriate tooling into turret
Support other fabricator duties as needed.
Perform initial quality check of parts against blue prints
Cross-train on Press Brake; operate depending on Production schedule.
Complete value-added processes such as drilling, tapping, post-machining, deburring and polishing.
Perform preventive maintenance and light repairs on processing equipment.
Properly use and read measurement equipment and gauges (calipers, tapes, etc.)
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical information on blueprints.
Strong math skills (Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations).
Safely move and handle large, heavy metal sheet, plate and parts using proper equipment.
Work Environment
This is a first shift position Monday through Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm. Fridays will be worked if OT is needed
