Aerotek Temporary Floor Technician in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Job Description : Floor Technician

Temporary Contract job position.

This position keeps the facility in a clean and sanitary condition following established policies and procedures. Must clean and maintain unoccupied areas, restrooms, and common areas. Also perform various janitorial/environmental services necessary in maintaining a clean and safe environment.

  • Removes municipal and medical waste (including recyclable materials) from accumulation areas and delivers to the appropriate disposal containers.

  • Vacuum and shampoo carpeted areas disinfect floors with sanitizer

  • Scrub floors to remove stains, and buff and wax hard flooring types.

  • Cleans and maintains corridors, stairways, entrance ways, sidewalks and other facility areas.

  • Orders, receives, restocks and maintains supplies for daily use in work area.

Must Haves:

  • 6+ months of custodial experience

  • Ability to operate industrial cleaning safely and effectively

  • Ability to problem solve, ability to understand and explain job expectations and duties.

  • Exhibit a kind and friendly manner in communication with others, and ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
