Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Technician

Job Description

Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies. Prepares work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Installs PCBs into the chassis, runs cables through the platform, and installs drip trays. Responsible for cabling, routing, wire crimping, machine teardown, new product builds, and prototype work. Performs helium leak testing, cabling, module, and sub-assembly testing. Operates hand and power tools to complete assemblies. Reads and interprets work instructions to ensure accuracy of work performed. Performs standard testing and minor and major troubleshooting.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Phoenix, Arizona.

Work Environment

OPENINGS: 1 on 2nd shift - 2nd shift is a level 2 and pays $19 - $20 DOE + 10% Shift premium. HOURS: 3rd shift - 10PM - 6:30AM (M-F), 1st shift - 6:00AM - 2:30PM, 2nd shift - 2:30PM - 11:00PM (10% shift premium). REQUIRED - MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 2 SATURDAYS A MONTH. Attire: Steel-toed shoes, work pants/jeans, and plain shirt. AC climate-controlled environment. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Ability to stand/sit for sustained periods.
