Aerotek TPM Technician 20-25hr Paid Weekly in Phoenix, Arizona

Job Title: TPM Technician

Job Description

The TPM Technician assists and supports the development and implementation of TPM and LEAN manufacturing practices. This includes the creation of preventative maintenance packages, work instructions, job safety analysis, standard operating procedures, operator safety checks, equipment documentation, and LOTO procedures. Responsibilities also involve ensuring the accuracy and placement of SOPs on machines, enhancing the safety and clarity of work areas through visual aids, and maintaining general machine cleanliness. The role requires active collaboration with subcontractors to accomplish projects and tasks, and the maintenance of personal tools with a documented tool list provided upon employment.

Hard Skills

  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, Explorer, Photo Suite), Web, SAP

  • Typing speed of 25 WPM

  • Proficiency in lockout tagout procedures

  • Machine maintenance knowledge

  • General hand tools usage

  • Experience in general-purpose maintenance tasks (painting, hanging wall objects, carpentry, plumbing, lighting, floor care)

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work in a team and with subcontractors

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills

  • Proactivity in maintaining cleanliness and safety standards

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in NA, Arizona.

Work Environment

The work schedule is initially from 6AM to 2:30PM, with potential to shift to 5AM to 1:30PM. The role involves standing or walking for 90% of the day and working in parts of a shop that may not be air-conditioned and can be dirty. Candidates must be comfortable working in these conditions.
