Hiring Utility Technicians

$20-$25/hour

Description:
Assist in fabricating and assemble structural steel and piping components.
Measure and cut steel with a band saw, plasma cutter or oxy-acetylene torch according to engineering cut sheets.
Install supports, bracket and trolley beams.
Operate plate shears, industrial saws and other power equipment and tools as required.
Will work as a apprentice to the Welders, Electricians and Plumbers. Help pulling wires, hanging walls, assembling frames and spot welding.
Assist with install various pieces of equipment in accordance to engineering drawings and specifications.
* Utility techs will have an important job. They will be working with all of the trades to fabricate and built their chillers. Utility Techs could be tack welding (3-4 in beads) on support beams one day and painting the next. They could be working with the electrical team pulling wire or helping sweat copper piping with the plumbers. Utility techs will have the opportunity to train in every department and build a strong familiarity within the following trades - Welding, plumbing, electrical.
