Aerotek Machine Operator in Pinellas Park, Florida
Machine Operator
Join our team as a Setup, Machine Operator where you'll play
a crucial role in our manufacturing operations. You'll be responsible for
setting up brazing machines, performing complex setups on paste modules and
feed tracks, and troubleshooting machine issues. Your attention to detail and
ability to maintain high standards will ensure the production of quality parts
while supporting our safety, quality, and efficiency goals.
Responsibilities:
Set up brazing machines with proper tooling.
Perform complex setups on paste modules and feed tracks.
Troubleshoot simple to moderate common machine/sensor problems.
Assist brazing operators with workflow, material needs, and machine operations.
Perform minor machine maintenance on paste modules, feed tracks, and associated equipment.
Assist in daily and monthly preventative maintenance duties.
Accurately complete all required paperwork and perform basic math functions.
Support 5S, EHS, Quality, and GLSS programs by following approved practices and procedures.
Fulfill responsibilities detailed in control plans associated with the position.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Scope:
Produce quality parts with a strong sense of accountability and high standards.
Education:
- Required: High School diploma or G.E.D.
Work Experience:
- Required: 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Skills &
Abilities:
Operate equipment, loading feeder bowls, adjusting tracks, and pay stations.
Handle hot material from furnace using tools.
Process terminal connector parts in a climate-controlled environment.
Lift up to 35 lbs.
Operate multiple machines, conduct changeovers, and adjust equipment.
Focus on managing multiple machines efficiently.
Conduct visual inspections based on quality criteria.
Fast-paced environment with a focus on production metrics.
Hands-on training provided over 4-6 weeks with Department
