As an SMT Line Operator, you will be responsible for the technology of mounting and soldering electronic components, such as resistors, capacitors, transistors, and integrated circuits, onto a printed circuit board (PCB). This role involves using Surface Mount Technology (SMT) where components used are known as surface-mount devices (SMD), which are smaller than traditional through-hole insertion technology. This position requires setting up and operating automatic machines including screen printers, pick and place machines, reflow ovens, and Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) machines. You will also be responsible for running Juki SMT machines, loading parts, replenishing feeders to maximize productive run time, and performing quality inspections to ensure all completed work meets quality standards.
