Job Title: Quality Control Technician
Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated Quality Control Technician for a precast concrete manufacturing facility. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $20-$24. The role involves working both indoors and outdoors, with a majority of the day spent assisting machine operators in creating molds, setting up cages, and moving materials throughout the facility. Additionally, part of the day will be spent outside performing patch and finish work on molds and cleaning using air tools.
Responsibilities
Assist machine operators from start to finish in creating molds
Set up cages and move materials throughout the facility
Perform patch and finish work on molds outside
Clean using air tools
Consistently lift up to 75 lbs throughout the day
Read and interpret tape measures accurately
Maintain good attendance in accordance with the company's 10-point system
Essential Skills
Experience in concrete, general labor, construction, manufacturing, or production
Ability to read a tape measure
Capability to lift up to 75 lbs consistently
Good attendance record

Work Environment
This facility is not climate controlled, requiring candidates to work both indoors and outdoors. The job can be very labor-intensive, and candidates must be comfortable with heavy lifting all day. The environment is noisy, necessitating the use of hearing protection. During the peak season until November, the schedule is from 6 or 6:30 AM to 5 PM, working 60+ hours per week. From November to May, normal hours are 6 AM or 6:30 AM to 3 PM or 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with very occasional Saturdays.
