Aerotek Tool And Die Repair in Port Huron, Michigan

Currently hiring a 2nd shift Tool and Die Repairman

Responsible for the following:

  • Assembly and installation of components for dies that are placed on the tooling bench by senior tool and die members

  • Utilizing basic mechanic tools for assembly of die and installing pins and tooling inserts

  • Required to read blueprints and make precise measurements

Hard Skills

  • Tool and Die repair experience

  • Proficiency in using hand tools

  • Ability to read Blue Prints

  • Experience with basic mechanic tools like vice grips, socket set and drivers, screw drivers, and wrenches

Work Environment

This position is set in a manufacturing environment, specifically a dedicated tool room. You will be working on die line-ups that are already placed on the tooling benches. You are expected to come in, get your repair list and install list for the dies, and begin your tasks.
