Job Title: Warehouse Driver

Job Description

As a Warehouse Driver, you will be responsible for route driving and delivering products using a 26ft box truck, sprinter van, or 20 ft flatbed truck to various job sites and retail stores. This role includes going back and forth between the service center and the warehouse, as well as onsite delivery which may require extended walks up to 30 minutes to reach designated areas. You will load your own vehicle using a forklift and pallet jacks alongside the warehouse team and handle all freight, including unboxing tools when necessary. When not driving, your duties will involve fulfilling orders as a Material Handler, organizing and maintaining inventory, unloading delivery trucks, putting away stock, using RF scan guns for locating products and pulling orders, supporting the will call department, and using a computer for inventory input. Additionally, you may be required to assemble products as needed.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Portland, Oregon.

Work Environment

This position operates in a smaller shop setting with about 30 total employees, including office staff and an outside sales team. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The location is bus accessible. However, a valid driver's license and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for the last 3 years are essential for the delivery driver role.
