Job Title: EM Assembler

Job Description

As an EM Assembler, you will perform a wide range of electronic and electromechanical subassembly and assembly operations, requiring considerable judgment and initiative to build complex units such as power supplies, modules, chassis drawers, cable harnesses, PC boards, electronic systems, and subassemblies. You will follow production drawings, sample assemblies, and verbal instructions with minimal supervision, applying established workmanship practices to all facets of mechanical assembly. Your role includes interpreting and working from ECOs, schematics, drawings, work instructions, and bills of material, soldering and de-soldering components, installing and removing discrete components, mounting assembled components, and connecting wires and components. Additionally, you may perform other tasks such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating, and color coding parts and assemblies. You will also adjust materials to achieve specified characteristics, perform hand soldering, inspection under a microscope, online testing, troubleshoot defects, and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
