Job Title: Mechanical Crane Technician

Job Description

We are seeking Mechanical Crane Technicians to troubleshoot, repair, service, and inspect hoists, overhead cranes, and gantries. Responsibilities include performing maintenance and repairs on overhead cranes and related equipment at customer facilities, diagnosing mechanical problems with equipment in heavy industrial manufacturing facilities, and working as a team with other technicians and project engineers on major installations, upgrades, and modifications. Candidates will be trained to perform documented safety inspections of specific types of equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines, perform scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance, consult with customers regarding all noted deficiencies, and complete all required paperwork.

Work Environment

Work in very large industrial plants with massive overhead cranes, up to 150 tons. Work hard, play hard culture. Employees are passionate about their trade and enjoy their work, fostering a fun and engaging environment. Team size can range from 1-3 people at client sites, and dress code includes metatarsal boots and jeans. Typical work hours are Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM, which includes 2 hours of drive time and 8 hours of work.
