Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
Join our team in a dynamic role where you'll start in a department that aligns with your personality, experience, and skillset. Embrace the opportunity for cross-training across various departments including stockroom, inventory, order picking, shipping, and receiving. As you gain experience, more cross-training opportunities will become available. Responsibilities also include general warehouse duties such as standing, walking, lifting, bending, pushing carts, lifting boxes up to 35 pounds, using computers for data entry, organizing products using a color and 'hat' system, performing basic math for inventory, and using an RF scanner.
Hard Skills
6 months+ warehouse or logistics experience
Ability to lift 35 lbs
Proficient in basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
Experienced in using computers and RF scanners
Soft Skills
Adaptability to cross-training
Physical stamina for manual work
Open to overtime work
Comfortable with rolling contracts
Job Type
This is a contract position with a duration of 520 Hour(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Richmond, British Columbia.
Work Environment
The work environment is clean, quiet, and very friendly. Our management is deeply committed to training and developing employees. Working hours are from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with optional overtime on Saturdays.
