Local Hospital hiring for Environmental Services Workers!!!!

Candidates will be working as Discharge Cleaners- they will be working on any floor throughout the hospital and will be responsible for turning over a room after a patient has been discharged

Duties include:

• Sweeping, scrubbing, mopping and polishing floors

• Vacuuming carpets, rugs and draperies

• Shampooing carpets, rugs and upholstery

• Dusting and polishing furniture and fittings

• Cleaning metal fixtures and fittings

• Emptying and cleans trash containers

• Disposing of trash in a sanitary manner

• Cleaning wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers

• Wiping down glass surfaces

• Making up beds and changes linens as required

• Realigning furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout

• Responding to guest queries and requests

• Responding to calls for housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses

• Performing other duties as assigned

Shift:

12pm-8:30pm

3pm-11:30pm

*Must be open to weekends
