Job Title: Chemical Operator
Job Description :
As a Chemical Operator, you will be responsible for performing kettle and holding tank washouts, ensuring compliance with departmental standards and formula requirements. Your duties will include recording raw material requirements, lot/batch numbers, and consumed quantities on required paperwork and container labels. You will submit samples of formulas and raw materials to the Quality Control for testing and approval. Additionally, you will ensure that formula batches meet required specifications by following Production Order Instructions and adhering to procedures and processes within the Compounding Departments. You will safely use tools such as pumps, hoses, transfer lines, and valves to transfer both raw materials and formulas from one container to another. Routine tasks will also include lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, wearing all applicable PPE, maintaining cleanliness in work areas, replacing and maintaining hoses, gaskets, and connectors, assisting in troubleshooting transfer pumps, and operating forklifts or pallet jacks as needed.
