Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Material Handler, where you will operate overhead cranes to load and unload semis, stage products, and handle materials post-cutting. As you grow in your role, you will receive training to operate plasma cutting and cut-to-length machines, enhancing your skills in processing orders for our customers. You will play a crucial role in supporting machine operators by supplying materials and managing products after they have been modified to customer specifications.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Roseville, Minnesota.

Work Environment

This position offers a 90-day contract-to-union transition within an industrial, expansive warehouse environment reminiscent of historical shipbuilding facilities. Although the temperature varies with season, the benefits of working with us significantly compensate for any discomfort. Shifts available are 1st (6am - 2:30pm) and 2nd (2:20pm - 10:50pm), with initial training conducted on the 1st shift for up to a month. Safety training and paperwork will be completed on the first day. Note: Must own steel toe boots with non-detachable metatarsal covers.
