Aerotek Accessioner in Rye Brook, New York


Must Haves: - Detail Oriented - Ability to type 45-55 words per minute

Responsible for: -Receive and sort medical requisition by specialty -Accession cases according to case types and should be within the department’s productivity standards. -Accurately read, interpret and transcribes clinical data information from all requisitions, including hand-written -clinical data. - Must be able to identify and prioritize cases categorized as HIGH, STAT and PRIORITY -Assist in generating and managing reports as directed by the supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY Receive, sort, accessions and transcribes clinical data information from all requisitions received into lab manager clinical data section includes but not limited to all case types received throughout all shifts.

There is a night shift and daytime shift open right now. Both are priority.

Night shift: • Monday – Friday • 9pm – 530 am • PRIORITY – start ASAP

AM shift: • Tuesday – Saturday • 9am – 530pm

Requirements / Description • Dealing with specimen – touching container or bag with specimen • Wearing PPE • Repetitive work • Team Player • 45+ wpm – Preferred 100% accuracy • Medical experience or Keying Experience • ONLY having this job at night
