Job Title: Operator

Job Description

The Bakery Operator is an entry-level training position responsible for running various pieces of equipment in production and packaging. This role involves reporting to the Line Supervisor and assisting with the operation of equipment or machines linked to production and packaging. The Operator will receive training from a subject matter expert according to work instructions and is expected to operate the equipment proficiently. While initially not proficient in all equipment associated with packaging/production, the Operator will focus on specific equipment and machinery for certification and advancement to Sr. Operator. The role requires adherence to specifications, managing proper weights, settings, packaging, quality, speeds, labels, and ingredients, and communicating any product quality or safety issues to Management.

Work Environment

The work environment is a fast-paced manufacturing setting in a GMP environment, which can be very hot and loud but smells good. It is important for candidates to be aware of potential gluten/flour allergies. The company enforces strict GMPs, including specific clothing, jewelry, and personal hygiene rules, and requires non-slip safety footwear.
