Job Title: Packaging Associate
Pay- $19/hr
Location- Saint Joseph, IL
Shift- 1st shift
Job Description
As a packaging associate at an agriculture company, take part in packaging seed corn in a variety of package sizes. The role requires you to ensure all packaging equipment is properly maintained, ensure labeling and seals are properly applied, and ensure finished seed is correctly stacked in place.
Skills Needed:
Assist packaging operator with set up and prep prior to packaging
Check equipment and safety devices to ensure proper functioning
Perform preventative maintenance/repairs on packaging equipment during off season
Ability to be effective in training for packaging, forklift, and safety
Effective communication
Organization skills
Light computer skills
Job Type
This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s) and the potential of extension.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Saint Joseph, Illinois.
Work Environment
Current schedule is 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday with a pay increase to $19/hr.
