Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for a first shift position. The successful candidate will set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to manufacture various parts. This role involves performing program edits and offsets, as well as operating multiple machines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Set up CNC lathes and mills

  • Run parts to tolerances as close as 0.0005"

  • Perform precision measurements

  • Make minor program edits and offsets

  • Conduct machine maintenance and cleanup

Essential Skills

  • Experience with CNC setup and operation of mills and lathes

  • Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, gauges, thread and plug gauges

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) or knowledge of when to use it

  • Strong prioritization and time management skills

Work Environment

The facility currently employs three CNC setup operators and one manual machinist who alternates between tasks. The environment is very clean and climate-controlled, ensuring a comfortable working atmosphere.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00
