Now hiring a CNC Field Service Technician for a local manufacturing company with a starting pay of $40/hour!
Job Description:
Seeking a Field Service Technician that will travel across the domestic USA to clients and repair, troubleshoot, install, and train clients how to use/repair their CNC Machines. Candidates will leave town on Monday and can expect to be home by Friday night every week.
Travel to customer's facility to provide installation, troubleshooting maintenance and repair support on Matsuura machines and controls
Provide comprehensive training to distributors and customers as wells as assistance over e-mail and phone
Utilize machine tool manuals, technical documents, internal and vendor resources to research machine issues
Ensure proper documentation regarding machine issues, repairs and installation; the Matsuura CNC Field Service Technician will provide detailed feedback to management, distributors and customers
Possess and maintain an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and Matsuura Machinery product lines
Execute warranty repairs and providing after warranty service on Matsuura products
Produce technical bulletins and repair manuals
When candidates are not traveling, they will be working in house to provide over the phone support to customers.
Qualifications
Willing to travel weekly Monday-Friday
Experience with Fanuc PLC controls is required (Siemens and Maskawa are nice to have)
5+ years' experience performing maintenance on CNC Mill Machines
