Job Title: Quality Control Technician
Job Description
Seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician responsible for implementing and executing the Quality Control Program. This role involves inspecting, testing, sorting, sampling, and weighing various raw materials or products to ensure they meet stringent quality standards. The technician will use precision measuring instruments and complex test equipment to maintain the highest levels of quality.
Hard Skills
Conduct and document Pre- and Post-Pour Inspections of precast products
Conduct and document Final Inspection of product before delivery
Test and document fresh and hardened concrete in accordance with industry standards
Monitor and arrange for timely calibration and maintenance of QC equipment
Generate spreadsheets for data collection
Interact with government and industry inspectors
Monitor quality and test conformance of incoming raw materials
Prepare for industry certification inspections
Learn the operations of Batch Plant and batching system
Soft Skills

Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 5 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Salem, Virginia.
Work Environment
The role is based in a production environment with ambient air-conditions, loud noise, dangerous equipment, and variable lighting. The candidate will be working with various chemicals, and facility management will review a complete inventory of SDS’s prior to employment.
