Aerotek Tig Welder in San Antonio, Texas
Description:
Custom stainless steel fabrication and welding on Sheet metal for sinks, oven hoods, and food tables. Able to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on welding machines and facilities. Occasional job duties shall include: plumbing, electrical, soldering, welding. Looking for a jack of all trades to be able to fix issues that arise in the welding shop and help the welders when they need extra hands on deck. TIG weld with nice finish Use precision measuring tools Operate cutting, forming and welding equipment

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST HAVE: Maintenance and welding experience Experience with precision measuring tools Experience with cutting, forming and welding equipment Ability to interpret mechanical and construction drawings Must have own basic tools including welding hood, gloves, and steel toe boots. (Mission will provide angle grinder and die grinder and some automatic or power tools)
Candidate should have at least ONE of the following 'PREFERENCES': Maintenance on welding machines or facilities maintenance. TIG welding experience on commercial or industrial kitchen or restaurant equipment Polishing and grinding experience Layout experience (read layout and proactively cut and add next pieces of equipment)
