Job Title: Lead SMT Operator
Job Description
As a Lead SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Operator, you will take on the responsibility of guiding and allocating tasks to your team to ensure efficient operation and teamwork. You will oversee the setup of screen printers, Pick & Place machines, and reflow ovens, and perform operator-level preventative maintenance. Your role also includes loading and unloading materials, setting up and configuring feeders, executing machine changeovers, identifying components, and ensuring all tools are prepared. Additionally, you will perform touch-up soldering, repairs, and quality assurance to meet compliance standards. You will collaborate closely with SMT process engineers to enhance operational procedures.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in San Clemente, California.
Work Environment
The role offers night shifts with flexible timings between 10PM-5AM or 9PM-4AM. The pay range is $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Candidates are expected to be available to start as soon as possible and must own steel-toed boots and provide ITAR documentation.
