Aerotek Material Handler in SAN DIEGO, California

Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

The successful candidate will be primarily working in our sterilization department. Key responsibilities include receiving customer materials, placing these materials in the sterilization chamber, operating the sterilization process and preparing the materials for shipment. The role involves operating a sit-down forklift for 60% of the day, with the remaining 40% dedicated to miscellaneous warehouse duties.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in SAN DIEGO, California.

Work Environment

The role requires working in a warehouse environment with daily adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Safety equipment including steel-toed boots, safety glasses and a vest will be necessary. Close collaboration with the team lead is expected. Initial shift times for training are Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm. Post-training, the shift will either be Sunday to Thursday, 4am - 12:30pm or Tuesday to Saturday, 8am - 4:30pm.
