Aerotek Facilities Supervisor in San Jose, California

Job Title: Facilities Supervisor

Job Description

As a Facilities Supervisor, you will be the primary contact for all building issues such as climate control, odors, smoke, spills, damage, emergencies, and repairs. Your responsibilities include creating, reviewing, and prioritizing work orders from various sources, ensuring proper communication regarding work orders, and keeping the Facility Manager updated on daily routines. You will perform maintenance on both interior and exterior buildings, including tasks such as painting, construction, renovation, repairs, and installation of equipment and furniture. Additionally, you will monitor facility conditions, manage primary utility systems, negotiate bids with vendors, coordinate jobs, and oversee contractor performance. You will also be involved in training new employees, following OSHA regulations, conducting site inspections, managing building cleanliness, and completing special maintenance projects as assigned.

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in San Jose, California.

Work Environment

This role is located in San Jose. The individual will be in charge of managing 3 buildings in the South Bay, with an addition of new buildings in 2025. Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, you will manage a team of four people. Free parking is provided in San Jose.
