Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator to help set up, maintain and operate machinery. You’ll ensure the efficient running of production. A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. Your job will entail working in diverse settings to produce our products. In order to ensure that our production procedures will run smoothly and within the set schedule, you will assist in the maintenance of the machines and in quality control. You will be responsible for the production of plastic product, working in three different department areas: Reclaim (recycling of the plastic), Extrusion (making of the plastic product) and Converting (printing on the plastic). Training will be provided during a 5-week period.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Henrico, Virginia.

Work Environment

The work environment involves a rotating shift schedule 7am-7pm/7pm-7am, working 15 days a month with a shift from day to night every 5th Monday. The setting can be hot and dirty, with no windows, and the smell of burnt plastic.
