Job Title: Plater Level I

Job Description

Seeking skilled Platers for a large sink faucet manufacturing facility. We have openings for both 1st Shift (5am – 1:30am) and 2nd shift (2pm – 10:30 pm). The role involves performing surface finishing processes such as soap line, chemical stripping, and oxidation. Responsibilities include applying electroplated finishes or oxide to plumbing and accessory components, immersing components in cleaning or coating solutions, and operating manual hoists. The position requires reporting any unusual plating issues to the Production Lead or Supervisor.

Hard Skills

  • Ability to see details at close range

  • Understanding of standard electroplating technology

  • Ability to read rectifier control box meters

  • Proficient in maneuvering and operating a manual hoist

Soft Skills

  • Understanding and commitment to working safely

  • Ability to listen to and understand basic information and ideas

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Santa Ana, California.

Work Environment

This role requires standing for prolonged periods in a production environment, working around chemicals, and necessitates the use of protective gear for hearing, feet, and eyes. Overtime is available, with a pay rate of $18 per hour for the 1st shift and $19 per hour for the 2nd shift.
