Aerotek Production Line Operator in Schenectady, New York

Job Title: Production Line Operator

Job Description

As a Production Line Operator, you will be tasked with a variety of production activities necessary for the manufacturing of conductive materials, such as metal plated fibers or coated non-woven materials. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, chemical transfers of various volumes, preparation of chemical solutions, inspection of raw materials, in-process and final material testing, data recording, finished goods labeling and packaging, and process and test equipment cleaning and maintenance. You will also be in charge of handling hazardous materials, including spill clean-up, adhering to established safe handling practices and safety procedures. You will be expected to maintain a clean and orderly work area at all times, ensuring a safe and productive workplace. Additionally, you will be involved in environmental health and safety programs and assist in the training of operators in accordance with facility practices. You will also be working closely with the production and maintenance teams to optimize operational efficiency.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Schenectady, New York.

Work Environment

Working hours for this position are 7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday. This is a smaller site with a family-like atmosphere, where most employees have been part of the team for a significant duration.
