Job Title: Automation Technician

Job Description

As an Automation Technician, your primary role will be ensuring the seamless flow of product from cooling conveyors, through assembly automation, and including all packaging automation to meet customer demand. You will be tasked with maintaining consistent product flow on the conveyor and rectifying sequence problems using HMI. Additionally, you will be responsible for the operation of Robotic Assembly Cells, including troubleshooting errors, adjusting assembly nests per product, and ensuring the proper feeding of hinge assemblies. Your responsibilities will also extend to maintaining the Feed & Main Trunk line conveyors and labeling, troubleshooting any errors with seat transfer and making necessary adjustments for product flow. You will also operate the X-ray hinge inspection and modify hinge profiles for accuracy. Finally, you will assist with packaging cells, adjusting case erectors, and ensuring the proper performance of hardware feeders. Shared responsibilities include assisting Automation engineering & maintenance on Seat Automation Equipment, conducting basic preventative maintenance as directed, and documenting and communicating all changes with the Automation Team.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Sheridan, Arkansas.

Work Environment

Our facility operates on a 2x2x3 Night Shift (6p-6a for Tech III) and M-F, 3p-11p for Tech IV. You can expect a clean, organized, and temperature-controlled environment with a friendly staff and supportive leadership.
