Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
This position involves mechanical maintenance with a focus on troubleshooting and repairing tanks, pumps, agitators, and pneumatic conveyors. You will work with single and three-phase motors (120-480V) and will need to rewire these motors as necessary. Daily tasks include receiving work orders from the supervisor, performing preventive maintenance (PM), and handling common repairs such as replacing locked-out pumps and unclogging pneumatic conveyors.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment such as tanks, pumps, agitators, and pneumatic conveyors.
Work with single and three-phase motors (120-480V), including rewiring as needed.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as changing motors, greasing bearings, and replacing belts.
Respond to work orders and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
Ensure pneumatic conveyors are functioning by unclogging lines and changing filters.
Handle emergency repairs efficiently and effectively.
Essential Skills
2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair pumps and tanks.
Electrical experience up to 3-phase 480V.
Ability to weld.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
PLC knowledge.
Fabrication skills.

Work Environment
This is a fiberglass molding company. You will work in a plant that smells like paint and requires wearing jeans, steel-toed boots, and a long-sleeve shirt. There are openings on the 2nd shift (2p - 10p) and the 3rd shift (10p - 6:30a), with some flexibility on times. Currently, the maintenance team works 55-65 hours per week, including five 12-hour shifts. The team consists of two maintenance personnel, including a supervisor and one technician on the 1st shift.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00
